WHAT
Eve Ensler’s award winning play The Vagina Monologues, part of Ottawa’s 2010 V-Day campaign to celebrate women and stop violence against women and girls. The play, based on interviews with more than 200 women, reveals the intimate side of vaginae, exploring different experiences and perspectives with humour and grace. You will laugh, cry and be moved by this series of monologues, to be performed by some 35 local Ottawa women.
This annual production is part of the V-Day Worldwide Campaign – a global movement to end violence against women and girls. Proceeds from this event will support organizations that work directly with women affected by violence.
